References and links
In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites ("hyperlinks") that lie outside the author's area of responsibility, a liability obligation would come into force only in the event that the author had knowledge of the content and it was technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent use in the case of unlawful content. The author hereby expressly declares that at the time the links were set, no illegal content was discernible on the linked pages. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, the content or the authorship of the linked/connected pages. He therefore hereby expressly distances himself from all content of all linked/connected pages that was changed after the links were set. This statement applies to all links and references set within the author's own website as well as to third-party entries in guest books, discussion forums and mailing lists set up by the author. Liability for illegal, erroneous or incomplete content, and in particular for damage arising from the use or non-use of information presented in this way, rests solely with the provider of the page referred to, not with the party who merely refers to the respective publication via links.

GENERAL
The "INTERNATIONALE GESELLSCHAFT FÜR MULTIMEDIALE KULTUR UND EUROPÄISCHE KOMMUNIKATION e. V." grew out of the cultural self-initiatives of immigrants and resettlers from the CIS and was meant to serve as a kind of umbrella organisation for them. These initiatives were successful first in the cultural landscape of Erfurt and Thuringia from the late 1990s onward, but later drew in other federal states as well: the Oskar Strock & Eddie Rosner interest group, founded 1997/98 (Oskar Strock & Eddie Rosner Society), and the editorial group of the Russian-language FM magazine Radio Akzent, founded 1999 (the first Russian-language medium of its kind in Thuringia). Since the editorial group played a central role, the homepage took its name from it. The necessity and continued expansion of our activities are best qualified by their far-reaching acceptance.
The growing workload and the further fields of activity after the opening of the Erfurt "Centre for Integration and Migration" (where we have had our Erfurt office since September 2004) placed new demands on us. Our non-profit association has set itself the task of assisting in the integration of foreign-language migrants and resettlers, initiating projects, organising events in the interest of cultural diversity and understanding between peoples, and being a point of contact for immigrants in matters such as cultural leisure activities, advice, care and accompaniment. The aim of the radio magazine was to familiarise immigrants and foreigners with living conditions in their new home, to introduce them to Germany's legal order, culture and history, and to present to all listeners the diversity of other peoples' cultures from various perspectives. The radio magazine is intended not only for the immigrants, resettlers and migrants living in Thuringia, but for everyone interested in the culture of other peoples. With this offering we wanted to encourage young migrants and immigrants to use their multilingual skills and their understanding of other lifestyles and cultures when choosing a course of study aimed at a career in media and journalism
The programmes of our radio magazine were devoted, among others, to the following topics:
- Events of the week, national holidays in Germany and worldwide
- Country presentations
- Interviews on intercultural topics with interesting guests (with a migration background, with intercultural experience, etc.)
- "Worth knowing about..." (various countries, cultures, languages)
- News on migration in Thuringia
- Help with integration
- Tips and information on education and training opportunities etc.
- City guide
